ONCOEXPERT

Biotechnology for oncology diagnosis and treatment. Expert Oncology System

The main objective of this project is the development of an Expert Oncology System to support universal oncology diagnosis and treatment. It is based on previous knowledge derived from the results obtained in the TradionP project, which was developed in a specific region of Andalusia (Granada). The OncoExpert project aims to integrate updated molecular information with greater predictive power, incorporating the latest advances in cancer research. The specific objectives are as follows:

– The integration of the project prior to the development and deployment of OncoExpert to any region or health area, focusing on Andalusia as a community where there are areas of varying tumour rates, and which will allow the complete validation and integration of the Expert System.

– To complement the molecular analysis with the identification of the individual’s whole exome and methylome.

OncoExpert aims to integrate the latest advances in cancer research.

In order to successfully achieve the project’s objective, a consortium has been formed with INDRA, LORGEN, ERA7, and MASTER DIAGNÓSTICA. In addition, Atrys Health collaborates with five foundations from ANDALUSIA: FISEVI (Hosp Virgen del Rocío, Seville): FIBICO (Hospital Reina Sofía, Cordoba); FABIS (Hospital Juan Ramón Jiménez, Huelva); FIMABIS (Hospital Clínico, Málaga) and FIBAO (Hospital Ciudad de Jaén in Jaén).
