PROSTATEPREDICT

Prognostic test to predict the likelihood of aggressive disease after surgery.

The main objective of this project, led by Atrys, is the development of a prostate cancer prognosis system that facilitates the reliable prediction of the likelihood of recurrence in patients who have undergone a prostatectomy.

The system would make it possible to accurately predict a relapse in patients who have undergone prostate cancer surgery.

In order to successfully achieve the project’s objective, Atrys Health is collaborating with Transbiomed SL, Consorci Institut d’Investigacions biomediques August Pi i Sunyer, Fundació Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron – Insititut de Recerca, and the Foundation for Biomedical Research of the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre.

The project is co-funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, within the National Public-Private Cooperation Programme, INNPACTO Sub-programme, within the Instrumental line of Articulation and Internationalisation of the System, in the framework of the National Plan for Scientific Research, Development and Technological Innovation 2008-2011, and by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
