eHealth. eHealth areas for Hotels

The main objective of this project is the creation of eHealth areas in Hotels and touristic establishments, through the design, adaptation, development and implementation of multispecialty, modular and high performance telemedicine platform, with a software architecture and redundant hardware capable to support these eHealth areas. This project is focused on three major lines of action: third age, or tourists with health control requirements, occasional athletes and preventive medicine.

This project promotes the development of innovative tourism products aimed at improving the competitiveness and profitability of the Spanish tourism sector. Thus, the project contributes to increase touristic activity and its profitability, since it promotes the universality of medical care, giving access to medical specialists to hotel customers. In addition, it generates quality employment, since it offers a business opportunity to the private health sector. Finally, the project contributes to the improvement of the international positioning of Spanish tourism, while promoting its deseasonality.

The project will be entirely developed by eDiagnostic, a company of the Atrys group, specialist in multi-specialty telediagnosis services.

Co-financed by the Spanish Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, within the framework of the Emprendetur I+D+i program of the National and Integral Tourism Plan (PNIT).
