The General Shareholders' Meeting of Atrys Health approves the accounts and appoints four new Board directors.

Madrid, May 25, 2018.- Atrys Health (ATRY), a company dedicated to the provision of diagnostic services and medical treatments of excellence, announced today that the General Shareholders' Meeting of Atrys Health, held last Friday at the Palacio de The Madrid Stock Exchange has approved the appointment of four new proprietary directors who join the company's Board of Directors.
These appointments are aimed at strengthening the board of directors after the capital increase completed by the company during the first quarter of 2018. These are Fernando de Lorenzo López and Alejandro Rey González, representing the Caser Group; Carolina Pascual Bernabeu, representing Inversiones Industriales Serpis S.L. (Grupo Pascual), and Eduardo M. Suárez Suárez, representing Real Estate Services Avilés (Grupo Melca).
All of them become proprietary directors of the Board of Directors of Atrys Health.


Fernando de Lorenzo López, Bachelor of Law and Master from the Instituto de Empresa, is the General Secretary of the Caser Group, where he also plays, among others, the position of President of Caser Residencial S.A. and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hospital Parque.

Alejandro Rey González is an Economist and PADE from IESE. He is currently the Hospital Director of the Caser Group since 2012. He has more than 20 years of experience in hospital management, managing throughout his career various hospitals belonging to different groups and institutions, including the Juan Cardona Hospital, Hospital Park, Our Lady of the Rosary Hospital and Our Lady of Fatima Hospital (Adeslas Group). Likewise, he has collaborated with different health organizations, public and private, as a consultant.

Carolina Pascual Bernabéu holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Barcelona and a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management from IESE in Barcelona. She has been a member of the Pascual Group's board of directors since 2000. For more than 15 years, she has worked as a Human Resources consultant for companies such as Hay Group, Seguros Genesis, Telefonica, L'Oreal or Kellogg's. She is a founding partner of AMEE, an association dedicated since 2013 to the mediation and resolution of conflicts in the civil and criminal spheres.

Eduardo M. Suárez Suárez holds a degree in Economics from the University of Valencia and a Master in Business Administration from the EOI. He is the financial director of Grupo Melca Asturias. He participated actively in the strategic design of the CEA of the Association of Economists of Asturias, as Secretary of the Board. He was also a member of the Board of Directors in European Medical and Orthopedic Manufacturing and INYPSA. For the last three years he has been residing in Peru to lead the general management of BK Gestión.  

The General Shareholders' Meeting approved the proposal for the application of profit and loss reserves corresponding to the fiscal year closed as of December 31, 2017, in which the company has obtained revenues of 6.03 million euros, which represents an increase of 32.33% compared to 2016 and a gross margin of 3.89 million euros, improving the gross margin of 2016 by 37.67%. In 2017, ATRYS reached an EBITDA of 1.83 million euros (a 73.08% increase compared to 2016) and increases its recurring EBITDA (adjusted for expenses related to capital increase and associated with M & A activity) up to 1.94 million euros.

The company closed the year 2017 with a net profit of 97.15 million euros, an increase of 54.12% over the previous year. The recurring net profit, excluding extraordinary expenses, stands at 557 thousand euros.
