He has been Clinical Head of the Hospital del Mar in Barcelona and has subsequently developed his career in major public sector positions: General Director of the National Plan on Drugs in the Ministry of Health, Deputy Minister of Culture, Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and expert in the Secretariat-General of the European Commission.
He was also a delegate in Madrid of the Government of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
His experience in the private sector has focused on the sectors of ICT, Health and Renewable Energy. Has been VP of Terra Lycos, President of Eolia Tarraco, a member of the Advisory Board of Indra, promoter of eDiagnostic Telemedicine Society, and member of the Board of Mémora. Today he serves in the advisory boards of innovative companies in the above-mentioned areas. He is Vice President of the Pasqual Maragall International Alzheimer Foundation.
Lozano Fernández, Isabel
Chief Executive Officer
Lawyer and Master in Marketing Management, he has large experience in managing biotechnology and oncology companies, both national and international. He was CEO of PharmaMar (biopharmaceutical R&D+i company) and Chief Financial Officer of the Grupo Zeltia for five years. He began his career in management positions in several capital venture groups and in the Arthur Andersen Audit division.
Scientific vice chair
Medical Doctor and internationally renowned researcher, pioneer in the development of diagnostic platforms for the development of new cancer therapies. He is Chair of the Department of Pathology and Professor of Genetics and Genomic Science at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He is also Professor and Chair of the Department of Pathology at Mount Sinai Hospital. He was Professor of Pathology and Urology at Columbia University in New York, Associate Director of the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Vice-Chairman of the Pathology Department at Columbia University School of Medicine. Previously, he spent 24 years at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, where he created and was the first director of the Molecular Pathology Division. Dr. Cordon-Cardo has also played an important role as founder and promoter of new biomedical technology companies, including Impath Laboratories (now a subsidiary of Genzyme).
Dr. Cordon-Cardo has received numerous national and international awards for his scientific achievements and leadership in oncology. He is co-inventor of Atrys’ diagnostic platform, and co-discoverer of the biological mechanism by which a single session of a high dose radiation treatment succeeds in healing malignant tumors, which is the biological basis of the SD-IGRT.
Medical Radiotherapy Vice Chair
He is an experienced radio oncologist who has large experience in SD-IGRT. He was Chairman of the Radiotherapy Department and director of Radio-oncology at the University of Pisa, Italy. Currently he is the Director of Clinical Research and Director of radiotherapy at the Champalimaud Centre, and a world key-leader in SD-IGRT. He joined Atrys in 2010.
Huch Ginesta, José María
Chief Financial Officer
Bachelor in Business Administration, Cum Laude MBA from IE. He has worked as an auditor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, has been responsible for analysis department at SpreadCo, Director of investments in Catalana d'Iniciatives SCR, vice president and vice president BBVA Ventures and Civeta Investments. He joined Atrys in August 2015
González Rumayor, Víctor
PhD in Genetics from UCM. Prior to Atrys, he was founder and Technical Director of Super Seed Biotech, one of the first Spanish biotechnology spin-off. He has been Professor of Physiology and Biotechnology at the University of Segovia and Director of the Innovation Circle of Biotechnology in Madrid. He has been Senior Researcher in Regenerative Medicine and Advanced Therapies at Health Institute Carlos III, Director of Programs at the Dirección General de Terapias Avanzadas y Trasplantes in the Health Ministry and Advisor at the Ministry of Health. Government representative at the Policy and Coordinating Committee for Human Reproductive Health and Research (WHO). He is R&D director in Atrys since 2014.
Colomer Valero, Anna
PhD in Biology from the UB and MBA in Biotechnology in IE. She has extensive experience in laboratory managing. Prior to Atrys, she has been responsible for a private laboratory of molecular pathology and was a cancer researcher in the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, in Barcelona. He joined Atrys at its origins, in 2007.
Mundt Dussel, Eduardo
Director of TeleRadiology
Medical Doctor and Specialist in Radiology by the Ministry of Health and Social Action of Argentina, homologated by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. Member of the College of Physicians of Barcelona.
He has a 14 year experience as a clinical radiologist. Currently, and since 2007, he is radiologist at the hospital General de Catalunya, and joined eDiagnostics as assistant Director of Teleradiology services in 2014.
Director of Cardiology
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Madrid with clinical training at the University Hospital of La Princesa. Internal Resident in Cardiology at the Hospital Ramón y Cajal. Degree in PhD in Medicine from the University of Alcalá. Master in "Design and Statistics in Health Sciences", and European Certification (The European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging) in Transesophageal Echocardiography of adults since April 2014.
From August 2002 to date, she is an Area Specialist (FEA) of the Cardiology Department of the La Paz University Hospital, forming part of the MAB-EE Incorporation Information Document of ATRYS HEALTH, SA Page 97 June 2016 Image Unit. She is also Coordinator of Quality of the Cardiology Service and President of the Commission on Perceived Quality and Humanization of the Hospital.
Salord Bertrán, Pedro
Chief Financial Officer
Bachelor of Economics and PDD by IESE Business School.
He has developed his professional career in the areas of financial management and control in various sectors such as textile production in IBSA where he began his professional career, in the insurance sector as head of management control in Seguros Bilbao of Grupo Catalana de Occidente and as finance director in Group 2002, company of the real estate sector.
He was a member of Atrys Health's management team from September 2011 to July 2015, reinstating himself as Chief Financial Officer in January 2017.
Business Project Manager
Licensed in CC. Biological Sciences by the UCM and PhD in Molecular Biology by the UAM. She worked as a researcher at the Institute of Child Health and the London Research Institute. She has extensive experience in private business both nationally and internationally, having worked for the biotechnologist Oryzon Genomics as a project leader and in Myriad Genetics as an account executive. She joins the Atrys Health team in 2015.
